If there ever was a crucial moment to promote animal welfare in aquaculture environments, that moment is now! Climate changes put these ant other questions related to animal farming on the top of the reasearch priorities.
It’s within this context that IGNITION (Improving GreeN Innovation for the blue revoluTION: new tools and opportunities for a more sustainable animal farming) was created. This project is coordinated by CIIMAR – Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research.
