The IGNITION project will hold its six-month progress meeting on the 1st and 2nd of June, hosted by Edinburgh University in Scotland. With the increasing demand for high-quality animal protein and growing concerns about environmental sustainability, IGNITION aims to revolutionize the aquaculture sector by developing innovative strategies and non-invasive tools to enhance animal health and mitigate stress-related challenges.
Throughout this meeting, representatives from various work packages will share their progress and objectives.
Several sessions are schedule to showcase the project’s multidisciplinary approach, and foster collaboration and interaction among the various work packages to ensure a holistic understanding of animal welfare and climate change.
