The Sustainable Aquaculture Cluster is pleased to announce its upcoming online event, “Aquaconnect: Innovating Aquaculture through Circularity, Biomass, and Biotechnology,” taking place on 14 October 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00 CEST.
This three-hour event will feature contributions from IGNITION, Cure4Aqua, GrinnAqua, LOCALITY, INNOAQUA, and EUAqua to share cutting-edge research and innovations in aquaculture. Structured around key themes rather than individual projects, the programme will highlight advances in:

- Circularity – technical approaches such as integrated multi-trophic aquaculture.

- Biomass applications – from novel uses of microalgae to food and feed innovations.

- Breeding and health – with a focus on disease detection, prevention, and sustainable treatment strategies.
The event will feature short presentations followed by in-depth discussions, designed to foster knowledge exchange and identify synergies across research and industry.
Participation is open to all, and the event will also be recorded for those unable to join live.
