CIIMAR is seeking a driven PhD candidate with a passion for aquaculture, animal welfare, and machine learning to join the IGNITION team working on “Non-invasive tools to assess fish welfare and disease susceptibility under farming conditions” under the supervision of Benjamin Costas.
This role involves pioneering research into the effects of climate change on aquatic farmed animals, as well as the development of non-invasive assessment methods. The selected candidate will work closely with CIIMAR experts, contributing to ground-breaking studies on animal health and welfare.
