Benjamin Costas, IGNITION project’s coordinator, spoke at the Blue Growth Program’s midterm event, part of the EEA Grants, on October 17th , highlighting IGNITION’s ground-breaking work in aquaculture. Although IGNITION is a Horizon Europe project, it was included in the event due to its contribution to advancing sustainable aquaculture andto the Blue Growth Programme.
During his presentation, Benjamin Costas gave an overview of IGNITION’s innovative research, highlighting the team’s dedication to understanding how the climate change affects aquatic life and creating novel, non-intrusive techniques for assessing the wellbeing of aquatic animal species, which has the potential to transform aquaculture practices.
